| 09/11/2012 | The deposit is located in an irregular shear zone striking N20E for about 1000 feet in mafic metavolcanics. The shear zone reportedly had a width of 50 feet. The deposit may be symmetrically zoned with a central zone of arsenopyrite and carbonate veinlets passing outwards into a zone of pyrrhotite, then pyrrhotite with carbonate veinlets and finally an outer zone of country rock intersected by narrow veinlets of carbonate. |

| 09/11/2012 | The sulphides are reported as being disseminated, as well as in lenses and stringers. Coleman reported that assays from the shear zone returned values up to $3.70 Au, $2.52 Ag and 14.4% As per ton. Typical assays from the ore ran from <$1.00 to $31.20 Au and Ag with an average of $5.75 Knight reported that the ore occurred in small veinlets and in grains disseminated through the rock. Moorhouse reported that ore were said to carry values in gold and silver. Selected samples collected from the vicinity of the north shaft returned assays of 0.2 oz/t Au, 2.6 oz/t Ag; 0.16 oz/t Au, 1.2 oz/t Ag and 0.12 oz/t Au and 3.4 oz/t Ag. Channel samples from the entrance of the adit returned values of 0.12 oz/t Au, 0.7 oz/t Ag and 0.08 oz/t Au and 1.2 oz/t Ag. A 4 ft section of drill core from Big Dan Mines DDH 10 returned an assay of 0.18% Cu, 0.02 oz/t Au and tr Ag over 4 feet. Grab samples collected for United Reef Petroleums returned values ranging from 0.005 oz/t Au and 0.12 oz/t Ag to 0.21 oz/t Au and 2.19 oz/t Ag. A NS trending shear zone crosses the middle of the shaft separating a massive basalt to the west from a felsic intrusive to the east. Both rocks are mineralized. Quartz veins were seen mainly in blocks. Values obtained by Falconbridge from the felsic intrusive were 244 ppm Cu, 104 ppm Zn, from the mafic volcanics were 483 ppm Cu, 262 ppm Zn and from a block with 5 % quartz veining were 2800 ppm Cu, 6560 ppm Zn and 3980 ppb Au. Thirty meters north of this shaft a small trench still at the contact of the same felsic intrusive and mafic flows returned <5 ppm Cu, 815 ppm Zn and 7.9 g/t Au. Samples from a mineralized open cut with mostly Po and some Cp. Anomalous Cu and Zn values were obtained at 15E/0+20N another mineralized open cut with sulphides up to 20 % (Py,Po,Cp). Values obtained within this area were 6120 ppm Cu, 3280 ppm Zn, 5280 ppb Au; 1820 ppm Cu, 515 ppm Zn and 641 ppm Cu, 1070 ppm Zn. |
